I am Leilany Rose Calataya—a certified healer, meditation and breathwork instructor, and counselor-in-training with a background in Molecular Biology and Clinical Psychology. I am currently earning my master's degree in counseling at Northwestern University.
But more than that, I am someone who has lived through suppression and trauma—shaped by patriarchy, silenced by culture—and done the hard work of healing.
I grew up in a traditional Korean household, where being a girl came with unspoken rules: stay quiet, stay small, do not take up too much space. Beneath that, I carried the hidden weight of childhood sexual abuse—wounds I would not fully understand until much later.
For years, I searched for confidence, love, and self-worth in self-help books, podcasts, and personal transformation courses. But healing did not come from pages or programs. It came from within—when I finally stopped running from myself and began facing what I had buried for years.
In 2020, I found stillness through meditation—and that stillness became a turning point. I immersed myself in practices like Sudarshan Kriya and Shambhavi Mahamudra, eventually completing a 1500-hour yoga teacher training in the Blue Ridge Mountains. From that foundation, I began guiding others—offering breathwork and meditation not just for stress relief, but as gateways to resilience, reconnection, and inner awakening. And the more I taught, the deeper I journeyed into my own spiritual transformation.
I felt called to integrate energy work, trauma-informed spirituality, and intuitive practices. I trained in a range of modalities—including Holy Fire® Reiki, Divine Healing, Soul Contracts, and other mind-body-spirit approaches—that helped me reclaim the parts of myself I had once exiled: my rage, softness, my voice, my truth.
Now, I support women who have learned to survive by abandoning themselves—those who have dimmed their light, masked their pain, or forgotten how to trust their inner voice. Through a blend of science-backed insight and soul-aligned healing, I help them come home to themselves.
This work is sacred to me. Because I know what it is like to feel broken—and I also know that you are not.
You are whole.
You are powerful.
And you do not have to walk this path alone.
I AM here to walk with you.
With love and light,
Leilany Rose Calataya
